What is the difference between your mini-site web design and me using a free template off the web to do it myself? You benefit from the experience of a professional website developer with business acumen who will apply techniques that makes your site content more appealing to Prospects, potentially gain greater exposure on the web and a design that conforms to formal design and accessibility standards.

Is it really free? The web design is free. You are obliged to subscribe to our Mini-Site Hosting service. (£60 half yearly).

When do I have to pay for the Hosting Service? When you place your order for the Mini-Site.

Do I have to renew the subscription when it expires? Only if you wish to keep your website live, your email account active or your Domain Name ownership do you need to renew your subscription. However, if you wish to close the mini-site but retain the Domain Name then my standard annual subscription charge would apply for this.

Can we meet to discuss the project? To keep overhead costs to a minimum for this offer I usually rely on remote communication. You should send me your brochure or text and images you wish to publish and I shall review your input and if necessary contact you by email or telephone to clarify any issues. I can also supply my content collection pack which will help you to decide what to write for your mini-site.

How long will it take to publish the mini-site? When I have all your content and your payment I endeavour to make the mini site available for your approval within 24hours, not including weekends and public holidays. When you approve the mini-site, your email account, web site and Domain Name shall be active across the Internet within 72hours.

My business offers multiple services or many products. Will there be enough space on the page for everything I offer? The idea of the mini-site is for you to test the Internet as a promotional medium. If you have multiple offerings you should consider promoting details of one service with a brief note introducing the others. Similarly with products, consider promoting your main product. I can even place a link to PayPal so that customers can buy * the product online, if the product is suitable to do so. Please review the examples (right) to get an idea of what is feasible.

In what format do you require photographs? Paper,. jpg file, .gif file, .pdf file, or paper brochure/catalogue showing images.

I don't have any images of my service or product. What can you do for me? In this case I shall endeavour to source stock images that complement your service or product.

I don't have a business logo. What can you do for me? Your business will be identified by its full name.

What is the procedure for updating site content after publication? You submit your change request to Web Works2. Simple and infrequent text changes, like updating a product price, contact details, adding a weblink etc. will not incur a charge. Image changes and extensive text changes shall incur a charge at the prevailing hourly rate. Whether or not a charge applies is at the sole discretion of Web Works2. I shall issue a quotation and await your payment prior to implementing charged updates.

Who owns the copyright? The content copyright is owned by the customer. The page design copyright is retained by Web Works2.

I already have a Domain Name and/or access to Hosting services. Will you just supply me the mini-site? No, If you already have a Domain Name you wish to use you must transfer it into the Web Works2 Hosting service. Transfer 'in' of Domain Names is free of charge. The incumbent ISP may charge you to transfer it 'out' of their service.
