What is the difference between your mini-site and me using a free template off the web to do it myself? You benefit from the experience of a professional web site developer with business acumen who will apply techniques that makes your site content more appealing to Prospects, potentially gain greater exposure on the web and a design that conforms to formal design and accessibility standards.

Is it really free? The design is free. We require you to subscribe to our Mini-Site Hosting service (£60 half yearly).

When do I have to pay for the Hosting Service? When you place your order with us for the mini-site.

Do I have to renew the subscription when it expires? Only if you wish to keep your web site live, your email account active or your Domain Name ownership do you need to renew your subscription. However, if you wish to close the mini-site but retain the Domain Name then our standard annual subscription charge would apply for this.

Can we meet to discuss the project? To keep our overhead costs to a minimum for this offer we usually rely on remote communication. You should send us your brochure or text and images you wish to publish and we will review your input and if necessary contact you by email or phone to clarify any issues. We can also supply our content collection pack which will help you to decide what to write for your mini-site if you would like this.

How long will it take to publish the mini-site? When we have all your content and your payment we endeavour to make the mini site available for your approval within 24hours, not including weekends and public holidays. When you approve the mini-site, your email account, web site and Domain Name shall be active across the Internet within 72hours.

My business offers multiple services or many products. Will there be enough space on the page for everything I offer? The idea of the mini-site is for you to test the Internet as a promotional medium. If you sell multiple services you should consider promoting details of one service with a brief note introducing the others. Similarly with products, consider promoting your main product. We can even place a link to PayPal so that customers can buy the product online, if the product is suitable to do so. Please review our two sample mini-sites to get an idea of what is feasible.

In what format do you require photographs? We can take paper,. jpg file, .gif file, .pdf file, or paper brochure/catalogue showing images.

I don't have any images of my service or product. What can you do for me? In this case we shall endeavour to source stock images that complement your service or product.

I don't have a business logo. What can you do for me? Your business will be identified by its full name.

What is the procedure for updating site content after publication? Either you can DIY using appropriate tools, or you can submit your change request to Web Works2. Our charge will depend on the extent and frequency of your change requests. Simple and infrequent changes like updating a product price may not incur a charge. We shall issue a quotation and await your payment prior to implementing charged updates.

I already have a Domain Name and/or access to Hosting services. Will you just supply me the mini-site? No, If you already have a Domain Name you wish to use we require you to transfer it into our service. We do not charge to transfer ' in' Domain Names. The incumbent ISP may charge you to transfer it 'out' of their service.
